Seeking Applicants for Ward 1 Alderman vacancy

City of Bloomer is seeking applicants for Aldermanic District 1 (Ward 1)

The City of Bloomer is seeking applicants to fill a City Council position for Ward 1. The new council member, who will be appointed by the City Council, will serve until April, 2026.

Applicants must reside in Aldermanic District 1.

Interested citizens can check the City's Website at www.ci.bloomer.wi.us under "News" to confirm their Aldermanic District by viewing a map. Prospective citizens may also call Bloomer City Hall at 715-568-3032 and provide their address to confirm which District they reside in.

All applicants must submit a letter of application and resume by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 to the Clerk's office at 1503 Main St., Bloomer, WI. An appointment is expected to be made at a future Council Meeting. For additional information about serving as a City Council Member, please contact the City Clerk's Office at 715-568-3032.
