There is a skating rink and a hockey rink located on the east edge of the city.

There is an excellent sledding hill that is located adjacent to the skating and hockey rinks. The city provides supervision for these activities.

The City of Bloomer has a local snowmobile club the "Bloomer Sno-Hawks" and a snowmobile route that passes through the city. This route allows both local and out of town snowmobilers to pass through the city and gain access to local businesses (ie. gas stations, food).
