Bloomer, Wisconsin
MARCH 3, 2010
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special
joint meeting of the City of Bloomer, area Townships
and Village was called to order on Wednesday, March
3, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. at City Hall – Mayor Thur
presiding. Roll call was taken: Mayor
Thur, Alderpersons Young, Hofmann, Steinmetz, Clerk
Stoik and Attorney Thiel; Village of New Auburn (Donna
Bischel); Town of Bloomer (Vernon Kellen & Eugene
Lueck); Town of Auburn (Leo Zeman & Paul Scheidecker);
Town of Cleveland – absent; Town of Cooks Valley – absent;
Town of Eagle Point (Bonnie Ferstenou); Town of Sampson – absent;
Town of Tilden (Luke Bowe & Michael Bowe); Town
of Woodmohr (Jerry Johnson, Louis Revoir & Jim
Hansen).
Alderperson Steinmetz made a motion to go into closed
session under Wis. Stats. 19.85 (1) (c) as read by
Mayor Thur. Alderperson Young seconded the motion
and a roll call vote was taken: City of Bloomer,
aye; Village of New Auburn, aye; Town of Auburn, aye;
Town of Bloomer, aye; Cleveland, absent; Cooks Valley,
absent; Eagle point, aye; Sampson, absent; Town of
Tilden, aye; Town of Woodmohr, aye.
Louis Revoir (Town of Woodmohr) made a motion to come
out of closed session and report on action taken. Jerry
Johnson (Town of Woodmohr) seconded the motion and
all present voted aye.
Vernon Kellen, (Town of Bloomer) made a motion to
accept the resignation of Brent Hassemer as Ambulance
Administrator effective 02-28-10. Louis Revoir,
(Town of Woodmohr) seconded the motion and all present
voted aye.
Eugene Lueck, (Town of Bloomer) made a motion to appoint
Tom Muhlenbeck as Ambulance Administrator on a temporary
basis until the September 27, 2010 semi-annual meeting. Vernon
Kellen (Town of Bloomer) seconded the motion and all
present voted aye. Clerk Stoik questioned the salary
the Board wishes to pay. It was determined to
pay him the same amount as Mr. Hassemer was making.
Alderperson Steinmetz made a motion to adjourn the
meeting. Jerry Johnson (Town of Woodmohr) seconded
the motion and all present voted aye.
